Local Truck Driver

Being a local truck driver means you drive within 200-300 radius of your home allowing you to return home the same day. You will drive locally in whichever city your home is located.

Regional Truck Driver

A regional truck driver will move freight within a region of surrounding states. You may be on the road for 5 or more days but you will always stay close and never be obligated to drive across the country. You will be able to be home on a weekly basis if wanted.

Over The Road Truck Driver

Typically with over the road driving you will be picking up loads throughout the country. You will be on the road for 2+ weeks, then receive several days off before taking on another 2 weeks of driving.

Straight Truck Driver

Straight truck driving is a non-CDL driver operating a straight truck which is a truck where all the axels are connected to a single frame.
